DO YOU CARE?

By Jamie Hunter

There's a man, alone, in the street.
Cold and hungry,
No shoes on his feet.
Do you care?
Jesus cares.

A weeping babe, on the path.
Passing glances,
Some cruel laughs.
Do you care?
Jesus cares.

Blind, asking for life's keep.
Kind coins,
Something that's cheap.
Do you care?
Jesus cares.

A loving heart, a helping hand.
Definite steps,
Leading to the promised land.
Do you care?
Jesus cares.

A life nailed on the cross,
Cries of pain,
Of a battle won, not lost.
Jesus cares,
Do you care?
