The Lecturer (A modern day parable)

By Julie Edmond

A lecturer gave a talk about an important part of his course. Some of the students were so tired from the late night before that they fell asleep and missed all the lecturer had to say. Some students made notes, but lent them to friends and forgot to get them back. Other students made notes, took them home and put them in a file but didn't look at them when it came to exam time. But the good students took notes, revised from them and received a good grade during the exam.
