Sometimes we can
be too busy in our prayer, when we should sit back so that we
can hear God speak.
This is something God showed me in a time of prayer. Time
and time again I asked the Lord "Why can't I hear you? However hard I try, I just can't seem to make out what you are
saying." The Lord replied:
"Take a glass of pond water and make it clear.
When you have done so, I will teach you how to listen." I
took a glass of pond water in a glass. I
couldn't take the bits out of it, When
I came back to the glass later, the water had cleared. The Lord said "Leave your prayers with
Me as you left the glass of water and I will answer them, be still, and My words
will become clear to you." (c)
